The 18-day itinerary below is our full loop. Most couples take a shorter version of it, and we are happy to cut it to 7 or 10 days.

What makes a honeymoon itinerary different

  • Fewer cities, longer stays. Two nights minimum everywhere. Packing and unpacking every morning is the fastest way to ruin a honeymoon.
  • Lake-view rooms in Udaipur – worth paying up for. It is the one city where the view is the point.
  • A private boat ride on Lake Pichola at sunset rather than the shared one.
  • A night in the desert near Jaisalmer, in a proper camp rather than a day trip to the dunes.
  • The same car and driver throughout, so nobody is negotiating with a new driver every morning.

Best months are October to March. February and early March are the sweet spot – warm days, cold desert nights, and the crowds thinning after the New Year peak.

Day 1: Jaipur Arrival

Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. On arrival, check-in hotel. Rest of the time is fre for leisure activities.

Shopping: Jaipur is famous for its brightly embroidered fabrics, blue pottery, silver jewelry, carpets and semi-precious stones.

Evening Dinner : Evening enjoy dinner at Chokhi dani (an ethnic village resort) where you will have an idea of the village life of Rajasthan here you will also enjoy various traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet show and various other interesting activities.

Day 2: Explore Jaipur

After Breakfast you will be taken for sightseeing of jaipur which includes visit of Jaipur City Palace, Royal Observatory, Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), Amber Fort

Tour Activity: Enjoy Elephant ride at Ambar fort.

Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Drive to Mandawa

In the morning drive to mandawa, after reaching mandawa you will be taken to visit Binsidhar Nawetiya Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, Mahan Lal Saraf haveli, Goenka Double Haveli. Stay night at Mandawa.

Day 4: Drive to Bikaner

In the morning take drive to Bikaner. After reaching there take visit to Junagarh, Lal Garh Palace, Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum, Camel Research Farm .

Tour Activity: Enjoy the Camel Safari.
Shopping: Mojari (Bikaneri style), rangi dupatta, Kundan work, wooden antiques, Lacquer Bangles, carpet making. The exquisite works of art made out of camel hides is famous of Bikaner.

Day 5: Drive to Jaisalmer

In the morning take drive to Jaisalmer, on the route you will be taken to visit the 600 years old Karni Mata Temple (Deshnok) and Gajner Wild Life Sanctuary. Reaching Jaisalmer in the evening and transfer to hotel, stay overnight at jaisalmer.

Day 6: Explore Jaisalmer

After breakfast, take a tour of Jaisalmer, you will be taken to visit Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Gadi Sagar Lake and Jain Temples. Stay night in jaisalmer.

Day 7: Explore Jaisalmer

After breakfast, continue tour of Jaisalmer, you will be taken to visit Nathmalji Ki Haveli, Salin Singh Ki Haveli, Sam Sand Dunes & Khuri. Stay night in jaisalmer.
Travel Activity : Enjoy the Camel Ride at the Sam sand dunes.
Shopping : Jaisalmer is famous for embroidery, Rajasthani mirror work, rugs, blankets, old stonework and antique. The dye and other fabrics are made at Kadi Bundar, north of the city.

Day 8: Drive to Jodhpur

In the morning drive to Jodhpur, after reaching there you will be taken to visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada & Ummaid Bhawan Palace. Stay night at Jodhpur.

Day 9: Drive to Mount Abu Visit Ranakpur Enroute

This is a main destination of Honeymoon Package After breakfast drive to Mount Abu, on the route you will be taken to visit Ranakpur Jain Temple, after arrival to Mount Abu, transfer to hotel. Check-in at hotel upon reaching and visit

Day 10: Explore Mount Abu

After breakfast, continue tour of Mount Abu, you will be taken to visit Dilwara Temples and Brahmakumari Ashrams. Stay night in Mount Abu.

Travel Activity: Take the pleasure of boating at Nakku Lake.

Day 11: Drive to Udaipur

In the morning after you had your breakfast, take drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur in the late evening and transfer to hotel.

DAY 12: EXPLORE UDAIPUR

After breakfast you will be taken to visit of City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari, Jagdish Temple, Ahar, Sajjan Garh, Pichola Lake, Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum, Shilpgram, Eklingji Temple. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

Shopping : Udaipur has countless small shops and many interesting local crafts, particularly paintings of the Rajputs – Moghuls style.

Day 13: Drive to Pushkar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pushkar. A walk around Pushkar Lake for a visit to the only temple to Brahma in India, plus some of the other 51 temples around this holy lake.

SPECIAL ATTRACTION : Enjoy Camel Ride in the evening. After camel ride drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check-in hotel. Rest of the time is for leisure activities.

Day 14: Drive to Jaipur

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check-in hotel. In the evening you will be taken to visit Nahargarh Fort Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Drive to Agra

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Agra en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Afterwards you will be taken to visit Agra Fort Overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Drive to Delhi

Early Morning, visit Taj Mahal- One of the even wonders in the world, built by Shahjahan in loving memory of his beloved wife. And then, check-out from the hotel and drive to Delhi On arrival, check-in hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17: Explore Delhi

Day 18: Departure

Have relaxed breakfast, you can go for the shopping and in the evening take your flight.

What is the best honeymoon destination in Rajasthan?
Udaipur, for most couples. The lake setting, the palace hotels and the boat ride on Lake Pichola are hard to beat. Jaisalmer adds the desert, and Jaipur works well if you are flying in or out of there.
How many days do you need for a Rajasthan honeymoon?

What is the best time for a honeymoon in Rajasthan?
